ANNETTE CALVERI SONNENBURG

President

Annette Sonnenburg is the President of Sonnenburg Consulting Inc. and has provided CFO services, business consulting, and outsourced accounting and bookkeeping services for more than 20 years. Prior to starting her firm, she worked for securities broker dealers as a CFO and compliance officer, supervising brokers and traders and working closely with regulators. After working for a law firm analyzing securities cases and assisting with business filings and maintenance, she also worked as a CFO for a real estate development company and various other small businesses. Her current clients include product, service, and internet-based businesses, and high income, high net worth individuals.

She has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a minor in Economics (Summa Cum Laude). Her background and experience, along with working closely with attorneys and CPAs on business structure, liability exposure, and tax planning, preparation, and audits, have contributed to a broad knowledge of legal and financial matters for businesses and the unique issues relevant to high net worth, high income individuals.

TED H. SONNENBURG, PE, LEHS

Vice President

Ted is a professional environmental engineer and works mainly as the Vice President of a nationwide environmental firm. He has operated his own small businesses in the areas of specialty construction and environmental consulting. He has previously worked for the health department as an environmental enforcement officer and with the police department investigating environmental crimes. He assists Sonnenburg Consulting in the areas of compliance with federal and local environmental and safety regulations, risk assessment and business maintenance


MADISON COX

Bookkeeper

Madison first joined Sonnenburg Consulting in January of 2019 and we are pleased that she rejoined the team in May of 2020. She has worked as a controller and enjoys working with our clients to grow their businesses and help them succeed. Our clients appreciate her willingness and flexibility to be available when it is convenient for them, problem solve, and spend time with them to assist them in understanding their accounting entries. She enjoys going beyond typical customer service and assisting clients and other team members.


MINDY PETERSON

Bookkeeper

Mindy joined the Sonnenburg team in January of 2018. She has worked with reputable financial institutions where she worked as an account reconciliations specialist and financial service representative helping maintain commercial client accounts. This experience and knowledge lead her to beginning her own successful small business. With Mindy’s solid understanding of bookkeeping and accounts payable/receivable principles you can guarantee the best hands on experience, attention to detail, and a high degree of accuracy and customer service.


DANIELLE GIBBS

Bookkeeper

Danielle joined the Sonnenburg team in December of 2017. She has worked as a full-charge bookkeeper since graduating with an Associate of Science in Accounting. She is highly organized and detail-focused, with a track record of accurately and efficiently supporting overall business and accounting activities. She enjoys working hands on with clients to help them problem solve and meet their evolving business goals.
