ANNETTE CALVERI SONNENBURG

President

Annette Sonnenburg is the President of Sonnenburg Consulting Inc. and has provided CFO consulting services, business consulting, and outsourced accounting and bookkeeping services for more than 20 years. Prior to starting her firm, she worked for securities broker dealers as a CFO and compliance officer, supervising brokers and traders and working closely with regulators. After working for a law firm analyzing securities cases and assisting with business filings and maintenance, she also worked as a CFO for a real estate development company and various other small businesses. Her current clients include product, service, and internet-based businesses, and high income, high net worth individuals.

She has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a minor in Economics (Summa Cum Laude). Her background and experience, along with working closely with attorneys and CPAs on business structure, liability exposure, and tax planning, preparation, and audits, have contributed to a broad knowledge of legal and financial matters for businesses and the unique issues relevant to high net worth, high income individuals.

TED H. SONNENBURG, PE, LEHS

Vice President

Ted is a professional environmental engineer and works mainly as the Vice President of a nationwide environmental firm. He has operated his own small businesses in the areas of specialty construction and environmental consulting. He has previously worked for the health department as an environmental enforcement officer and with the police department investigating environmental crimes. He assists Sonnenburg Consulting in the areas of compliance with federal and local environmental and safety regulations, risk assessment and business maintenance

MINDY PETERSON

Bookkeeper

Mindy joined the Sonnenburg team in January of 2018. She has worked with reputable financial institutions where she worked as an account reconciliations specialist and financial service representative helping maintain commercial client accounts. This experience and knowledge lead her to beginning her own successful small business. With Mindy’s solid understanding of bookkeeping and accounts payable/receivable principles you can guarantee the best hands on experience, attention to detail, and a high degree of accuracy and customer service.

DANIELLE GIBBS

Bookkeeper

Danielle joined the Sonnenburg team in December of 2017. She has worked as a full-charge bookkeeper since graduating with an Associate of Science in Accounting. She is highly organized and detail-focused, with a track record of accurately and efficiently supporting overall business and accounting activities. She enjoys working hands on with clients to help them problem solve and meet their evolving business goals.

JESSICA WAYMAN

Bookkeeper

Jessica has been working with Annette at Sonnenburg Consulting since April of 2021. She loves the positive work environment and the opportunities to work with our wonderfully diverse client base! She enjoys working under Annette’s expertise and professionalism. Jessica loves helping people, and has a determination and goal to serve others and treat everyone she meets with kindness and care. Outside of Sonnenburg Consulting, she has a passion for health and wellness, and works in that industry on the side. Her hobbies include hiking, reading, cooking, and spending time with her family.

BRI CALVERI

Bookkeeper

Bri has been working with Sonnenburg Consulting since 2020. She has a bachelors in Educational Studies from WGU and joined the team as a part-time bookkeeper to assist with managing accounts in Quickbooks. Bri pays attention to detail and is a quick learner. She has been thoroughly and consistently trained by Annette in the world of accounting for many years, and is always eager to learn more, being somewhat of a jane of all trades. She currently manages the website and social media of the business, as well. Bri is committed to providing quality services to clients here at Sonnenburg Consulting. Outside of Sonnenburg Consulting, you can find her traveling the US in her Subaru, meditating at local parks, and playing her guitar at coffee shops.

Tiffiny Appelbaum

Tiffiny joined the Sonnenburg Team in 2022. Over the years, she’s acquired experience working with clients in many types of industries, including corporate, ecommerce, event planning, giftware, healthcare professionals, nonprofits, and schools, and managing a wide array of design and marketing projects. She loves the variety of clients and projects she gets to work with at Sonnenburg Consulting. In her spare time, Tiffiny enjoys gardening and reading.
